MULTIFUNCTION POLIS (MFP) - NSW GOVERNMENT
PROPOSAL TO THE JOINT FEASIBILITY STUDY.
FINAL
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 89-301, dated 11th September, 1989,
submitted by the Deputy Premier, Minister for State
Development, and Public Works in relation to this
matter, subject to the draft proposal being amended to
indicate:where cities are to be located i.e. residential
concentration; and
•
that some major institutions, notably health and
education, may fall outside the "footprints" but
will be linked into the (MFP) by modern technology.
Cabinet also decided that consultation with the Minister
for Health, and Arts, the Minister for Housing, and the
Minister for Education and Youth Affairs, is to take
place in the course of amending the proposal.
The Deputy Premier, Minister for State Development, and
Public Works is to take the necessary action to give
effect to Cabinet's decision.

VALUATION OF LAND (SUBDIVISION) AMENDMENT BILL, 1989.
Approval was given to the provisions of the Valuation of
Land (Subdivision) Amendment Bill, 1989, as summarised
in Cabinet Minute 89-308, dated 18th September, 1989,
submitted by the Minister for Natural Resources, in
relation to this matter.
9.
STRATA TITLES (REGISTRATION OF PLANS) AMENDMENT BILL,
1989 AND COGNATE BILL.
Approval was given to the provisions of the Strata
Titles (Registration of Plans) Amendment Bill, 1989, and
Cognate Bill, as summarised in Cabinet Minute 89-309,
dated 18th September, 1989, submitted by the Minister
for Natural Resources, in relation to this matter.
