The Attorney General's report was noted.
AMENDMENT OF THE PUBLIC AUTHORITIES (FINANCIAL
ARRANGEMENTS) ACT 1987 (PAFA) TO DELINEATE INVESTMENT
POWERS FOR AUTHORITIES.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 89-262, dated 27th July, 1989, submitted
by the Premier, Treasurer and Minister for Ethnic
Affairs in relation to this matter, including the
preparation of the necessary legislation, subject to:-

the amendments outlined in Treasury advice of 15th
September, 1989.
PROPOSED LEGISLATION TO GIVE N.S.W. COURTS CERTAIN
JURISDICTION OVER LAND OUTSIDE N.S.W.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 89-294, dated 5th September, 1989,
submitted by the Attorney General, in relation to this
matter.
The Attorney General is to take the necessary action to
give effect to Cabinet's decision, including the
preparation of the necessary legislation.
