MISCELLANEOUS AMENDMENTS TO COMMUNITY SERVICE ORDERS
ACT, 1979.
Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 89-225, dated 27th June, 1989, submitted
by the Minister for Corrective Services in relation to
this matter, subject to:*

review by Treasury of the funding and staffing of
the Community Service Order Scheme.
The Minister for Corrective Services is to take the
necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's decision,
including the preparation of the necessary legislation.
INTEREST SUBSIDY SCHEME FOR NON-GOVERNMENT SCHOOLS.

Consideration of Cabinet Minute 89-248, dated 21st July,
1989, submitted by the Minister for Education and Youth
Affairs, in relation to this matter was deferred.
