STATE AND NORTHERN TERRITORY GRANTS (RURAL ADJUSTMENT)
AGREEMENT RATIFICATION BILL, 1989.
•
Approval was given to the provisions of the State and
Northern Territory Grants (Rural Adjustment) Agreement
Ratification Bill, 1989, as summarised in Cabinet Minute
89-268, dated 4th August, 1989, submitted by the
Minister for Agriculture and Rural Affairs, in relation
to this matter.
PROPOSED AMENDMENT OF THE STOCK DISEASES ACT, 1923 IN
RELATION TO OFFENCES AND PENALTIES.

Approval was given to the recommendations contained in
Cabinet Minute 89-205, dated 1st June, 1989, submitted
by the Minister for Agriculture and Rural Affairs, in
relation to this matter.
The Minister for Agriculture and Rural Affairs is to
take the necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's
decision, including the preparation of the necessary
legislation.
PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE CHILDREN (CARE AND PROTECTION)
ACT, 1987.
The Minister for Family and Community Services withdrew
her Cabinet Minute 89-223, dated 23rd June, 1989,
relating to this matter.
