APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF EXECUTIVE, NEW SOUTH WALES RURAL
ASSISTANCE AUTHORITY.
Approval was given to a recommendation being made to the
Governor-in-Council that Mr. Graham Ernest Maslen be
appointed as Chief Executive of the New South Wales
Rural Assistance Authority, as proposed in Cabinet
Minute 89-238, dated 14th July, 1989, submitted by the
Minister for Agriculture and Rural Affairs in relation
to this matter.
•
The Minister for Agriculture and Rural Affairs is to
take the necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's
decision, including arrangements for the necessary
medical examination.
PROPOSED EXAMINATIONS OF INTEGRITY ISSUES IN GOVERNMENT.
Consideration of Cabinet Minute 89-241, dated 17th July,
1989 submited by the Premier, Treasurer and Minister for
Ethnic Affairs, in relation to this matter, was
deferred.

JUDICIAL APPOINTMENT.
Approval was given to a proposal by the Attorney General
in respect of the following appointment:*
Mr. Brain Arthur Malpass, as a Master of the
Supreme Court of New South Wales.
The Attorney General is to take the necessary action to
give effect to Cabinet's decision.
