APPOINTMENT OF GENERAL MANAGER, NEW SOUTH WALES DAIRY
CORPORATION.

Approval was given to a recommendation being made to the
Governor-in-Council that Mr. George Robert Davey be
appointed as General Manager of the New South Wales
Dairy Corporation, for a term of five years commencing
on 1st August, 1989, as proposed in Cabinet Minute
89-218, dated 14th June, 1989, submitted by the Minister
for Agriculture and Rural Affairs in relation to this
matter.
The Minister for Agriculture and Rural Affairs is to
take the necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's
decision, including arrangements for the necessary
medical examination.
PROPOSED APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR-GENERAL, DEPARTMENT OF
MINERALS AND ENERGY.
Approval was given to a recommendation being made to the
Governor-in-Council that Mr. Geoffrey Rose be appointed
as Director-General, Department of Minerals and Energy,
for a term of five years from date of appointment, as
proposed in Cabinet Minute 89-220, dated 19th June,
1989, submitted by the Minister for Minerals and Energy
in relation to this matter.
The Minister for Minerals and Energy is to take the
necessary action to give effect to Cabinet's decision,
including arrangements for the necessary medical
examination.
