ALUMINUM
METAL
The maintenance of metal patio furniture is easy,
however, there are a few things to remember.
Garden furniture in steel and painted aluminum are
generally very easy to clean and can be left outside
without any problem since dirt does not adhere
well to the powder coating. However, steel furniture
still needs to be checked periodically to ensure that
the upholstery is intact and has not been damaged
by mechanical impact. In this case, the damaged
area must be closed with repair paint to avoid the
risk of rusting. You can gently remove the layer of
rust with sandpaper, then apply a small layer of rust
inhibitor and cover everything with touch-up paint.
By following these few steps, it’s possible to ensure a
long life for metal outdoor furniture, also thanks to the
strong mechanical characteristics.
FEATURES
Alloy 6060 and 6082: aluminum, magnesium, and silicon, used mainly for
furniture, with excellent corrosion resistance.
RECYCLABLE
It is a 100% recyclable material, it can be reused indefinitely, without losing
its characteristics.
USE AND MAINTENANCE
The best way to ensure maximum product durability is to store it during winter
in closed and dry places, to prevent humidity from creating condensation. If
the furniture is placed in a sea area, it is recommended to clean the surfaces
every two or three months with mild detergents, then apply a protective layer
of Vaseline oil. IMPORTANT: do not leave waterproof synthetic sheets over
the table tops for a long time. Condensation could damage the paint.
STEEL

FEATURES
Iron-carbon alloy with a percentage of carbon less than 2%. The steel used
in Vermobil products is treated to resist atmospheric agents, thanks to the
galvanizing process.
ENVIRONMENT
Steel produced from recycled material does not show any degradation in
mechanical properties, thus being identical to the “new” material.
It’s never consumed but continuously transformed through recycling
processes, which is why it’s considered a “permanent material”, at the base
of the circular economy.
