Recycle textile waste
The return system is innovative because micro昀椀ber is
not just a regular textile as we know it from clothing.
Micro昀椀ber is a textile blend of polyester, polyamide
and nylon, which makes it less straightforward to
recycle.
We took up the challenge to ful昀椀ll our environmental
responsibility and after more than two years, we
have developed a complete system and produced a
new product. The result is that micro昀椀ber gets a new
lease of life as industrial rolls (see the product on
page 11).
In this way, waste becomes resources because
micro昀椀ber is given extra life instead of being
incinerated.
The return system contributes to SDG 12 through recycling
and waste reduction.
