TAKE BACK by NMF
Micro昀椀ber Return System - From micro昀椀ber to industrial roll
As it is now, used mops and cloths are thrown out
with the daily trash.
They get burned and valuable material is wasted.
Nordisk Micro昀椀ber (NMF) wants to change that.
That's why we're launching TAKE BACK by NMF.
NMF was the 昀椀rst to develop and innovate a
complete return system for micro昀椀ber cloths and
mops.
The system works best when it is used. The more
people who return items, the more we help the
environment together.
When you use the return system, you will
receive a certi昀椀cate every year. This documents
the amount of recycled micro昀椀ber and the CO2,
water and energy you have saved the environment
by making a new product from used cloths and
mops.
Quite simply, the return system works. All you
have to do is put the used cloths and mops in
the NMF return bag. The requirements are few:
cloths and mops must be Nordic Swan Ecolabeled
and they must be returned clean and dry. We
accept all brands as long as they are Nordic Swan
Ecolabeled.
Once the bag is full, the person in charge at your
location will book a pickup. NMF Transport
will then come and pick up the used micro昀椀ber
products.
The products are sorted at NMF before being
sent for recycling. All products are shredded at
a Danish textile mill and then industrial rolls are
produced from the shredded 昀椀bers. The industrial
roll can replace the traditional paper roll in
industry for wiping, covering and absorbing.
