PERSONAL FINANCE - 331
(Articulate - Grades 11 & 12 only)

Grade Level: 10-12 (Recommendation: take 11 or 12 grade)
This course is designed to help students apply decision-making skills to earning and
spending an income, establishing and enhancing savings and investments, insurance,
using credit, and managing money. Additionally, students will explore how to develop a
balanced budget of income and expenses, the factors that affect income, and the risks
and rewards of saving and investing.
This course will include a simulation to cover many Personal Finance topics. Students
must manage their budget, pay bills, and determine how to save and invest. The final
grade will be based on each student’s performance within the simulation. Students will be
