In the Pacific, all the states are
majority Indigenous People states.
We have people who came from the
land, from the sea, and we understand
this concept of managing the resources
because we’ve done it for generations,
and it’s a matter of making sure
we don’t lose it as we become more
globalized. We need to ensure that
is maintained in the future, because
it is the only proven sustainable way
of managing our resources.
