For us at Iepé, this is a new experience with exciting
partnerships and with a prospect of being able to work
long term in an area so important for the conservation
of the Amazon, contemplating Indigenous Lands and
Conservation Units in an integrated way. We are very
grateful to LLF and Nia Tero for the unprecedented
opportunity, because it is an important victory for local
Indigenous peoples, who will certainly be strengthened
by this support, so they can continue protecting their
territories and living well on them.
