CLOSING
THE FUTURE
We hope the stories shared throughout these pages have
demonstrated the importance of trust-based relationships,
and that supporting Indigenous Peoples' methods of
guardianship are deeply critical to the sustainability of
our collective futures. Because of the work of Indigenous leaders,
great accomplishments are being made across regional and global
partnerships, programs, and initiatives. The elevation and amplification
of Indigenous voices, stories, and visions through programs such as the
Wayfinders Circle, and initiatives such as Seedcast and the Reciprocity
Project, continue to share the Indigenous knowledge and visions for a
viable future in Indigenous guardianship that the world needs to see.
Our partnerships across Amazonia, Pasifika, and North America continue
to make great strides in advancing policy, establishing new methods
of exchange and communication, and monitoring lands and waters in
autonomy and self-determination.
Now is the time for us all to support Indigenous guardianship
of our Earth as the way forward. We hope you will join us!
THRIVING PEOPLES. THRIVING PLACES.
