DIVERSITY IS OUR STRENGTH
Key to our mission is embracing diverse perspectives, lived
experiences, and work backgrounds in an environment
that promotes innovation, creativity, trust, and teamwork.
While Nia Tero is a US-based non-profit, our team—which grew to
52 members in 2022—spans twelve countries throughout our key
regions of focus. Our ambition is for our senior leadership to be equally
Indigenous and non-Indigenous, and our board will always be majority
Indigenous. We view this diversity as a source of our strength as a
bridging organization, committed to Indigenous self-determination and
Indigenous ways and means.
