POLICY

Indigenous leadership and voices were
present at key 2021 global policy
processes; including the World Conservation Congress, virtual negotiations of the Biodiversity Convention

COVID-19 pandemic, Nia Tero helped
strengthen the technical and policy
advocacy capacity of Indigenous
caucuses, partners, and policy apprentices. As a result, Indigenous peoples’
proposals and rights were strongly
reflected in outcome documents.
