Nia Tero - 2021 Annual Report - Spanish - Report - Page 31
The Storytelling Team continues to center Indigenous-made
content, nurture partner relationships, and focus on deepening
our quality of work.
Our Storytelling Team launched three
successful print and digital campaigns,
designed two completely new Nia Tero
websites, produced a dynamic presence
at COP26 both on the ground and
virtually; and our reach across all social
media platforms has doubled to reach
new audiences across the world. We are
currently in pre-production and production of 10 new short films, researching
book ideas, writing learning materials
for our Reciprocity Project films, and
we’re developing an Indigenous
Storytelling Advisory Council.
In 2021, we expanded our team to 11
people on staff, including an Associate
Director of Marketing. Working with a
strong and creative web development
team, we built a new, expansive, and
engaging main Nia Tero website with a
focus on spotlighting our programs and
initiatives, as well as a dynamic
secondary website and digital media
campaign covering the events and
highlights of COP26 in Glasgow.
The Storytelling Team continues to
center Indigenous-made content,
nurture partner relationships, and focus
on deepening our quality of work while
upholding Indigenous guardianship. At
the core of this work are the hopes and
concerns for future generations while
we continue our work together as a
collective movement through 2022
and beyond.
