HereÕs Keith ReadnerÕs home built
TUG.
Keith and Pauline live in Vernon and
built a beautiful
RV10
ÒAfter I built my RV-10 I
soon realized moving in
and out of the hangar
was no easy oneperson task, especially
going back on a slight
incline. I did some research on tugs and for the most part, they are made in the
USA and with the poor exchange rate they are just too cost prohibitive. I took
some features of others I had seen and constructed a prototype for testing.
With only a few modiÞcations from my original design I have what I think is a
good product. It will move my 10 with ease and is easy to hook up and operate.
No gas-powered engine to maintain. It runs on a 24-volt LiPo battery and
electric motor with speed control. I can easily lift it into the back of my truck if I
need to move it anywhere and the handle is removable. The frame is overbuilt
but that part of it will last indeÞnitely.Ò
