The are 3 steps to achieving a ‘certified design’. The second step is engaging with
a competent designer to prepare suitable and sufficient design output based on the
agreed design brief.

General duties of temporary works designers are as follows:

Designers should use the design brief as the basis for their design. Any queries should
be resolved with/through the PC’s TWC or SC’s TWC before design work commences.
