about design and implementation of temporary works is vital. Often decisions can be
made by people who will not be appointed into a specific temporary works role.

It is also vitally important to know who within an organisation is responsible for
gathering information about a company’s capability. In figure 1 it shows that the
technical, commercial and safety team have the collective responsibility for supply chain
management, i.e., issuing a questionnaire and distributing the information received to
the relevant people.
