cancer research
MUSC Hollings Cancer Center’s signature event, Gourmet & Grapes, is an
unparalleled gastronomic experience that pairs the inspired dishes of awardwinning chefs with exquisite wines from around the world. The 15th annual
Gourmet & Grapes was held Feb. 2-5, 2023 at The Sanctuary at Kiawah
Island Golf Resort.
A total of $1.3 million (a new record) was raised
throughout the weekend to beneft cancer research,
outreach programs and patient care at Hollings.
The weekend included an array of distinct events, including Gourmet &
Grain, a relaxed BBQ and bourbon mashup; An Epicurean Affair, an exclusive
black-tie dinner; Biking & Bubbles, a bike ride on the beach led by a Kiawah
naturalist; the Caviar & Champagne Brunch, the brunch of a lifetime complete
with lavish offerings, endless bubbly and sweeping views of the Atlantic; and
finally, Saturday evening’s Wine Odyssey Gala, the highlight of the weekend
with top culinary talent, award-winning wines and a lively auction.
