he adventure motorcycle (ADV) genre is one of the fastest
growing markets regarding bike and accessory sales, also
boosting the availability of off-road training programs and
tour company destinations to more remote locations. The ADV
segment has been steadily gaining speed since the pandemic
and is making a notably positive impact on rural communities
across the country. Much of this growth in the U.S. is contributed
by the non-profit Backcountry Discovery Routes® (BDR®). This
non-profit was established in 2010 and now has more than 13
main routes and four BDR-X routes in the U.S. More importantly,
