As much as I love to be tickled,
you know I’d much rather get pickled.
And if infested, needing to be deloused,
delay it, please. Let me first get soused.
With life’s pleasures, most seek to be satiated,
but I am more ascetic, quite content to be inebriated.
Though I am told, with my habit, my life is sunk,
nevermind, I say, there’s still time to get drunk.
