EDITORIAL
Welcome to the fourth issue of MONO. In a nutshell, this edition is the
literary equivalent of being stuck in a surreal dream, waking up and
thinking you're back in reality...only to discover that something is
completely awry. If you like your poetry weird and your prose weirder,
you've come to the right place!
This issue puts stark reality next to stark raving bonkers and doesn't
apologise for it. Look out for the first time publication, embrace the
language, the shapes the words make on the page and in your mind, and
finally enjoy the vibrant imagery that will stay with you long after reading.
Don't forget to enter the MONO. Poetry Prize 2023, judged this year by
Insta poet Blake Auden. We're committed to reaching every corner of the
poetry world which is why we're so excited to have Blake on board. Now
in our third year the competition is gaining much recognition and
attracting very high quality submissions from across the world. Doubling
in size every year we can't wait to see where our little poetry competition
