The heart of the heart is the heart of the matter but
what is matter but motive moving constantly shifting
shimmering like quarks as light sparks faster than
cognition far from home a quantum paradox infinitely
unintelligible boundless fractals of ever decreasing circles
but what is time but a different perspective on things –
we rise from darkness through blood into birth into sleep
in deep space as atoms regenerate into the universal
contradictions and mathematical quandaries and
why does it all come down to numbers when these are
manmade constructs attempts to understand self-replicating
life this bloodheat for what distinguishes the future from
the past is the fact that heat passes from things that are
hotter to things that are colder and this explains a lot
about who you are/were to me/who I will be through this
unlimited essence of chaos creation and collapse.
