A torn open sigh envelope(d) stained yellow
black sky fingers crushed like wasps
in a jar buzzing all tiny torsos and heads
battered and bothered by the nothings
living rent free in the heart of a scarred life stolen no longer worn still warm
love waits hand-clasped neck noose tie
carrying all the weight a hidden anger in the attic
hangs like a twisting bag of snakes I hate
how they hiss the night hisses back
we live so quietly in a pearl waiting
to be found waiting to be treasured
