1. Identify the Type of Handle
Spur
Spindle
Espag
Will feature a spindle at the
back and can be either handed
(o昀昀set) or universal (inline).
Cockspur
Does not have a spindle but
a spur that sits on top of a
wedge. Available in left or right
hand.
Inline
The most important
measurement to take on a
cockspur handle is the ‘stack
height’. This is the distance
between the base of the handle
and the underside of the spur (A).
