At Ovation Jewish Home, the Fifth Commandment is

individual needs. Licensed physicians and skilled nursing
staff provide care and health monitoring 24-hours a day,
seven days a week. Care goes beyond physical wellness,
with a focus on promoting emotional, social, spiritual,
and mental wellness. Recoup, recover, and return to
the life you love. Whether short-term rehab or skilled
nursing, our team provides the best care possible with a
proactive approach. We offer delicious kosher cuisine, a
café, our unique gift shop, beauty/barber shop along with
other amenities and are Medicare/Medicaid certified.

safe and nurturing home. Kavod, which is Hebrew
for “Honor and Respect,” drives our passion of
serving our loved ones and providing them with
independence, community, and well-being.
Kavod Terrace is a state-of-the-art facility that provides
residents with a relaxing lifestyle that offers all the
comforts of home. Featuring private rooms, an espresso
coffee bar, meal plan options, a spa and rooftop patio
garden overlooking Lake Michigan, Kavod Terrace is a
peaceful living space for residents to celebrate who they
are while receiving compassionate care and service.

The mission of Hand in Hand, Volunteer Partners in Caring,
is to provide volunteer assistance and financial support with
the goal of making Ovation Communities among the best
long-term facilities and thereby allowing our staff members
to focus on resident and patient care. Our members enhance
the lives of residents and provide direct services to residents
through volunteer service, community and board-initiated
programs and events. Hand in Hand also sponsors the Gift
Shop at the Ovation Jewish Home. Our Caring Partners
Program is made up of compassionate volunteers who are
specially trained to assist and comfort residents and provide
respite for their families during end-of-life situations.
