Disability Case Management assures that adults with developmental disabilities and/or severe and persistent mental
illness are given the opportunity to live independently and
achieve their fullest potential. JFS Disability Case Managers
provide a continuum of services: help with government benefits and entitlements like SSI, SSDI, Food Share and Medicaid
(Title 19); assist with identifying appropriate housing; money
management services; socialization opportunities; in-house
links to counseling; information, referral and advocacy.

Our Jewish Community Case Management program offers
supportive case management services for members of the
Milwaukee Jewish community in a culturally informed
and competent manner. The program addresses immediate, interment and ongoing social service needs of
Jewish individuals and families through a formal assessment and strength based culturally sensitive care plan.
Clients receive assistance to secure resources to meet
their basic life needs including food, clothing, shelter
and access mental health and primary healthcare.
• Mental Health and Substance Use
Support Services Comprehensive
Community Services (CCS)

CCS is a support program for adults living with mental
health disorders, substance use disorders, or both, who
have Medicaid/T19 coverage and reside in Milwaukee
County. CCS offers access to a wide array of unique services
to help clients manage mental health conditions, recover
from substance use, improve health, and build life skills
to be more independent and achieve personal goals.
• Social Services for Russian Speakers
and Holocaust Survivors

We offer services for a special population of aging adults
identified as Russian-speaking immigrants. Services include
restitution to those who were victims of Holocaust, translation
services Russian, Polish, Ukrainian, Hebrew and Yiddish,
food stamps and systemic monitoring of this program,
immigration forms and documents, housing matters,
medical interpretation at doctor’s offices and hospitals,
family conflict resolution as well as SSI, SSI+SS, disability
benefits, Medicare and Medicaid enrollment assistance.

The Jewish Federation of Madison, founded in 1940,

• Camp Shalom, serving more than
1,000 children each summer
• The Hilde L. Mosse Gan HaYeled Preschool,
providing preschool education for
children 18 months old – 5 years old
• Midrasha Hebrew High School, our
community-wide Jewish studies and Hebrew
language program for 8th–12th graders
• Irwin A. and Robert D. Goodman Jewish
Community Campus, a 154-acre year-round
recreation and educational facility
Our Annual Tzedakah Campaign supports local
service agencies such as: Chabad at UW, Jewish
Burial Association of Madison, Jewish Social Services,
UW Hillel, Wisconsin Jewish Council. Through the
Jewish Federations of North America, we support
programs in Israel and 70 countries worldwide.

Shalom Madison welcomes those new to Madison,
considering moving to our community, or existing residents in search of information. Shalom
Baby welcomes babies and their families by birth or
adoption to the Jewish community. Both programs
connect new residents and families to community
resources for support, to help them build Jewish
connections, and provide a special gift bag.

MadCAB, is the dynamic leadership development
program created by the Jewish Federation of Madison.
MadCAB brings together a cohort of young adults
for an 18-month program designed to enhance their
leadership skills and create the next generation of
leaders within Madison’s Jewish Community.
