Active daily water play, sports specials and playground time
combine with an in-depth exploration of our natural environment central to our summer curriculum. From this stems
a rich blend of science, art, construction, dramatic play and
language arts activities. This year the children will be exploring
habitats of people and various wildlife and their environments.
We will become nature detectives with our visiting naturalists
to enhance our knowledge and experiences. Incorporating
materials from nature, we will create works of art that inspire
wonder and appreciation for the outdoors. We look forward
to celebrating the whole child and the sensory joys of summer.
Through physical activity and calm reflection, we will examine
our connection to each other and the natural world around us.

Campers splashing in Lake Buckatabon. The entire
camp gathered for Shabbat services as the sun sets in the
Northwoods. Lots of singing and dancing. And even more
laughter. These are the joyous sights and sounds of summer
at Camp Ramah in Wisconsin. It’s what happens when
you mix a phenomenal staff and a magnificent setting with
hundreds of kids emboldened to live their best lives. For
75 years and counting, we’ve done exactly that, helping
countless campers make connections—to each other, to
nature, and to their Jewish identities—that last a lifetime.
