SUSTAINABILITY IS
OUR PRIORITY!
Dear Customers, suppliers and stakeholders of Micro Matic. We are proud to present our annual Sustainability
Report. This report delves into our efforts to mitigate our environmental impact and outlines the steps we’ve
taken towards a greener, more sustainable future. Central to our sustainability agenda is a comprehensive
approach to carbon calculation and reduction, aligning our practices with the international standards.
Integrating sustainability in every aspect of our business
Sustainability, ESG, climate actions have become the part of everyday business vocabulary, driving leaders to
rapidly respond to new demands. Different regulations and initiatives such as Paris Agreement, European Green
Deal, Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), Circular Economy Action Plan, and many others. From
people, to businesses, to economies - everyone is impacted trough increasing weather related events.
Doing what is right
Our commitment to environmental sustainability is underscored by our rigorous adherence to global regulatory
frameworks. This report, as in last year, is meticulously prepared in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol
(GHG Protocol), the de facto international standard for carbon accounting. This adherence ensures that our
emissions data is not only credible but is also comparable with industry peers, allowing for a comprehensive
assessment of our performance.
Already, we have:
• Decreased our CO2e impact in scope 1 when you compare to revenue.
• Invested in energy-ef昀椀cient machinery.
• Increased efforts to make packaging more sustainable.
We have integrated carbon accounting into our business decision-making processes. Our systems enable us to track
emissions at a granular level, facilitating the identi昀椀cation of hotspots and the implementation of targeted mitigation
strategies. This approach enables us to make informed, data-driven choices that drive us closer to our goals.
We are on track
In business sustainability is about reconsidering how the products are produced, operations are managed, supply
chains are created and stakeholders are engaged. Data maturity is the linchpin of our carbon accounting process.
It is a journey to continue measuring, comparing and then talking action in order to improve over time. In the
beginning it is imperative to understand where your main impacts are. By better understanding the data we want to
set impacting targets in all scopes. Together, let us continue to push boundaries, innovate, and strive for a future
where our planet thrives.
