ENERGY-EFFICIENT

Micro Matic Denmark took a signi昀椀cant step by replacing an older compressor dating back to 2016 with a newer
model from 2022. This step was taken to improve energy ef昀椀ciency, as the older compressor produced more than
was needed and thus required a higher amount of electricity.
The new compressor has led to an annual savings of 129,600 kWh in energy consumption. This reduction in energy
consumption is acknowledged as a positive development for the environment. By reducing energy consumption by
129,600 kWh, there has been a decrease in greenhouse gas emissions, directly impacting the overall CO2 burden.
The reduced emissions is an important part of Micro Matic’s goals and aims to decrease emissions within scope 1.
Micro Matic will continue to explore opportunities to implement similar energy-saving measures in other aspects of
the company’s global operations. This initiative serves as a source of experiences that can be used as a reference
for similar projects in the future.
