WAREHOUSE EXPANSION
ENHANCE SUSTAINABILITY
Micro Matic Nordics located in Sweden embarked on a signi昀椀cant expansion project, adding a total of 1,600
square meters to its existing facilities, resulting in a substantial increase in warehouse capacity, now totaling 5,100
square meters. A signi昀椀cant part of the expansion is dedicated to a refurbishment area where coolers and other
components can be restored and repaired. The new refurbishment area has made it possible to increase product
circularity and expand the useful lifetime of already produced products.
This aligns with our strategy to promote sustainability and product circularity. This signi昀椀cant investment is
a crucial step towards meeting both our internal sustainability goals and the market’s increasing demand for
sustainable solutions. It represents our contribution to building a greener future and aiding in the collective effort
to reduce CO2 emissions.
A noteworthy feature of this expansion is our decision to heat the entire building using geothermal heat. This move
signi昀椀es our commitment to employing environmentally friendly energy sources to minimize our carbon footprint.
The new refurbishment workshop itself spans 200 square meters, providing a dedicated space for enhancing and
preparing our products for their next life cycle.
