Mundus Representation
Founded in April 2019 by Andre Van Der Bijl and Wayne Redman, Mundus is a UK-based
representation company that has experienced remarkable growth since its inception.
The year spanning April 2023 to March 2024 has been particularly noteworthy for Mundus,
marked by signi昀椀cant expansion and strategic partnerships. During this period, Mundus
welcomed two new partners to its portfolio: NUBA Spain and Next Level DMC Netherlands.
This solidi昀椀ed their market position, bringing their total to 14 partners (13 DMCs, 1 hotel group:
Viceroy). Partner retention is key, with only two DMCs parting ways since launch.
Mundus continually adapts to marketplace dynamics, conducting annual sales and marketing
reviews, supplemented by quarterly ‘health checks,’ to stay updated on industry trends and
client needs. It is deeply committed to nurturing connections, demonstrated through annual
roadshows enabling partners to engage directly with the UK industry. Its recent roadshow,
spanning Leeds, Manchester, and London, engaged over 110 event professionals and raised
£1,650 for industry charity Meeting Needs.
Mundus has also curated bespoke sales missions for 2xceed UAE, Montenegro Concierge,
Viceroy Hotels, CS Events, Access Morocco, and MEP Turkiye, ensuring targeted outreach
and engagement, and hosted evening events, including festive wreath making classes, to
foster meaningful and creative engagement with event agencies, and conducted trips to India,
Montenegro, UAE, Turkiye, and South Africa.
Mundus surpassed last year’s revenue growth target, achieving an outstanding increase of
over 200%, and its robust business pipeline for 2025 and 2026 also shows continued promise
and growth potential.
Judges commended Mundus for their swift replies and valuable insights, and being “helpful,
creative, fun and personable”.
