MANNY GARCIA LIFE SAVING AWARD
Marine Services Bureau Capt. Manny Garcia was recognized by the Town of Davie for saving the life of a man who went into
cardiac arrest last March 9, 2024.
While off duty and visiting Davie with his family, Manny witnessed the man collapse in front of him.
Manny responded to the situation, and got the victim9s pulse back until Davie Fire Rescue arrived to transport the patient.
He received the Life Saving Award during Davie Fire Rescue9s Annual Awards & Recognition Ceremony.
