ADEN PERRY HERO LIFE RING UNVEILING
Named for Aden Perry (son of Chief Alan Perry, grandson of Fire Chief Merton Perry) who lost his life
when attempting to rescue the occupant of a submerged vehicle in 2022. Spearheaded by Aden9s
mom, Sarah, the unveiling in Doral Glades Park was the orst in Miami-Dade County (there are several
in Broward). City of Doral plans to put a life ring in each of its public parks. MDFR9s Bryan Sweetman
demonstrates how to use the Coast Guard approved ring.

The third Miami-Dade County life ring memorializing Aden Perry is unveiled on the
lake behind the Fire Tower by Sarah and Alan Perry.
An Air Rescue nyover highlighted the ceremony.
