faces that you haven’t seen in a while and tell some good
stories. Some of our guys and gals do the same in Stuart at
Duffey’s every Tuesday around 4pm. Jeffery and Jennifer
Burns also do the breakfast club up in Asheville, North Carolina once in a while. Tom Chochoon organizes a get together
occasionally at Black Point Marina Restaurant down south.
Janet Meyers does a monthly North/Central Lunch Bunch in
Gainesville! Watch for them. If you get off your ass and sign
up to our Facebook Page, you could stay up on ALL THE
NEWS and gatherings!!
Dahlonega: Well unfortunately, hurricane Helena
sure screwed up our annual reunion. It made many of us
enroute scramble to safer locations and made others hunker
down and wait out the storm. It was sad that after all the
hard work and year-long planning, we had to cancel just 2
days out. Thank you again to our awesome hosts Jeffery
and Jennifer Burns for trying. If you ordered hats or shirts,
you can still contact them via Facebook and get them. If you
sent me a check for golf, I will catch up with you. My email is
LTsparkee@aol.com for any questions.
Our Secretary/Treasurer, Bridget Keating represented us
again at Class #155’s graduation on October 10, 2024 to
present the John C. Soeder Camaraderie award. Thank you,
Madam Secretary.
Every time us retirees get together, we realize that much of
our war stories are turning into what medical procedures we
just got or what new medications we’re on now. Funny, but
not. Let’s keep praying for retirees and soon to be retirees
to do better.
