Welcome to the Metro-Dade Fire昀椀ghters IAFF Local 1403 History and Legacy Group. This private
community is dedicated to preserving and celebrating
the rich history and enduring legacy of the brave men and
women of Metro-Dade Fire昀椀ghters IAFF Local 1403.
In line with our ongoing efforts to educate our members, we
are dedicated to the growth and development of the Local 1403
Fire Fighters Museum Project. This initiative seeks to establish
a permanent space where our history can be preserved, showcased, and appreciated by all.

As we commemorate Miami-Dade Fire Rescue’s 90th anniversary, our mission is to create a collaborative space where
current and former members, along with their families and supporters, can come together to share and document the stories,
experiences, and artifacts that de昀椀ne our proud heritage.
To maintain a respectful and engaging environment, we ask
that members:
RESPECT PRIVACY: Share content that is appropriate and
has the consent of those involved.
STAY ON TOPIC: Focus on content related to the history and
legacy of Metro-Dade Fire昀椀ghters IAFF Local 1403.
BE RESPECTFUL: Engage with fellow members in a courteous and supportive manner. Let’s keep this positive and helpful
by sharing useful information that aligns with page’s goals.
