President’s Report
Two blank pages. A pause where words of frustration
and condemnation were once set to be printed. Instead,
space. An opportunity. Not a concession, but a challenge.
A moment to consider whether this administration and this
union can rewrite the rules of leadership at Miami-Dade Fire
Rescue. Can we chart a new course where operations come
昀椀rst? Where the needs of the men and women on the trucks,
responding to more emergencies than ever before, are
昀椀nally recognized as the foundation upon which everything
else stands? These pages remain unwritten because the
story is not yet 昀椀nished. It is ours to shape.
That future, however, is not built on blind faith. The past has
taught us otherwise. For too long, this administration has
