In October 2023, Messiah Lifeways purchased 85-acres of farmland in
New Cumberland, PA, which will soon become our new community, Fernecrest, and
we began marketing and preselling the cottages and apartments in the fall of 2024.
To begin full site construction for Phase 1 of Fernecrest, we are working toward
preselling 70% of residences. To build further excitement among current residents,
prospects, and those on our wait list, we also welcomed these groups onto the
property for tours and an opportunity to envision our plans for the new campus.
In Phase 1, Fernecrest will offer 131 residential living units and 15 昀氀oor plans, from
spacious apartments to well-appointed courtyard homes, duplex homes, and estate
homes. In addition to access to continuing care if/when residents need it at the
Messiah Village campus, amenities of Fernecrest will include a lounge-style restaurant
and cafe, a 昀椀tness studio, outdoor seating areas, 昀椀repits, prime access to the Yellow
Breeches Creek, and more.
