Next year and further steps
The main difficulty we encountered during the data collection was first due to the information being very widely
distributed between our various organizational boundaries (assets, offices, transports) and secondly due to the
varied character of the data – indeed in some cases the CO2 emissions can be calculated from the electricity bill, or
the fuel utilized, whereas in other cases (for most of the Scope 3 calculations) we used the distances and volumes
transported.
For next year we are planning on further standardizing our data collection process, and we hope to be able to put in
place a tailored platform addressing specifically the recipients we are targeting.
