Christmas Jumper Day
In December members of our London Office held Christmas Jumper Day, an annual fundraising campaign in the UK and Ireland organized by the charity “Save the Children“. Through this program, people
are encouraged to show their support by wearing a colorful Christmas Jumpers (sweater) and raising
funds to benefit “Save the Children”.
Operation Santa
Our Greenwich Office participated in gathering toys for underprivileged children during the Christmas
holiday season. Each year the office conducts a toy drive for a needy school in the South Bronx where
100% of the children are living in poverty. In addition to toys from Santa, each child receives a winter
coat, boots, a hat, gloves and pajamas.
DePelchin Children’s Center
Members of Mercuria’s Houston Office sponsored 30 kids at the DePelchin Children’s Center during
the Christmas holiday season. Founded in 1982, the DePelchin Children’s Center is a leading children’s
advocacy nonprofit organization that offers vulnerable children and families across Texas with support to break the cycles of abuse and neglect.
Food drives for Underserved and Homeless
Around the globe our employees participated in a number of events to collect money, food donations
and other materials at various times throughout the year.
