DIVERSITY
Gender and sex
While diversity is often a term used to refer specifically
to cultural differences, it further extends to all qualities that make people different and unique. Within its
workforce, the Company seeks to utilize a broad range
of perspectives with a wide talent pool empowered to
foster innovative and creative approaches and solutions. Mercuria looks to cultivate leaders from the individuals who are not only best in class for their craft,
but also excel both individually and as part of teams.
From a perspective of gender, while the Company is
more balanced than many of our peers; there presently remains a gap. Over the past year the Company has
seen more females moving into upper-management
positions, but continues to look for more individuals to
take on these challenging roles as they become available.
From a perspective of race, ethnicity or heritage; Mercuria is pleased with the broad range of individuals
that form its organization. With the global makeup of
Mercuria’s employees we see a strong alignment with
the global scope of our business.

In relation to topics of age and experience while our overall employee base stretches the full breadth
of the workplace, we see that the majority of our employees are within the central core of their careers.
As the organization continues to grow we expect to attract both individuals who may be just starting
out of school, as well as more seasoned professionals searching for new challenges.
