EITI Commodity Trading Working Committee
2
Mercuria continues to participate in the EITI Commodity Trading Working Group. The group
is making progress in the development of reporting guidelines for commodity traders to
report their trading activities where they relate to trading with governments. The reporting
guidelines, once implemented, will standardize how the industry should report
oil, gas and mineral trade related payments. Mercuria is preparing for implementation of these reporting guidelines
once they are finalized.
• Maritime Anti-Corruption Network

It is our pleasure to have become a member of the Maritime Anti-Corruption Network
(“MACN”). The Compliance
team, along with senior management here at Mercuria are
committed to being a part of
the global movement, which aims to rid the maritime industry from corruption. MACN is a
global network which has over 100 members and which was established in 2011. MACN
works towards the elimination of all forms of maritime corruption. Mercuria, with its use of
maritime transportation, its Minerva bunker services and its MM Ships fleet, we hope will be
a very useful resource to the network.

the leading business voice on anti-corruption and transparency. Launched in 2004, PACI serves as the principle CEO –led
platform in the global anti-corruption arena, building on the
pillars of public-private cooperation, responsible leadership
and technological advances. With approximately 90 signatories from different sectors across the globe, PACI undertakes
initiatives to address industry, regional, country or global issues tied to anti-corruption and compliance. The PACI Principles, to which we have committed, call for businesses around the world to commit to zero
tolerance of corruption in all its forms. PACI encourages members to join collective action
initiatives to increase public trust in business, deliver fair markets and level the playing field
by fighting corruption.
