INTRODUCTIONDuring 2019 Mercuria formally launched itsAgenda 2030 programme in support of theUnited Nations Sustainable Development Goals(“SDGs”). which is being rolled out and closelymanaged by Mercuria`s management team.Mercuria has the long-standing position that itundertakes all of its activities with the highest regard for the wellbeing of people, places and theenvironment. As the Group continues to pressforward with this in mind within the organization during 2019, Mercuria formally launchedits Agenda 2030 programme in support of theUnited Nations Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs). As Mercuria continues to evolve and develop, our Management Team is integrating thisbroad effort to hold it as part of the organization’s daily life and culture.As part of our Agenda 2030 commitment Mercuria now has an internal dedicated Agenda 2030website through which we update employeeson relevant news and initiatives and which hasa communication portal that allows employeesto make suggestions and communicate ideasto us about how Mercuria can contribute to theSDGs.In our business and our operations certain elements of the SDG are particularly pertinent, andwe are focusing our efforts on those more relevant SDGs in order to focus on issues where ourorganization may offer the greatest impact.Sustainable Development Goals29
