INTRODUCTION
During 2019 Mercuria formally launched its
Agenda 2030 programme in support of the
United Nations Sustainable Development Goals
(“SDGs”). which is being rolled out and closely
managed by Mercuria`s management team.
Mercuria has the long-standing position that it
undertakes all of its activities with the highest regard for the wellbeing of people, places and the
environment. As the Group continues to press
forward with this in mind within the organization during 2019, Mercuria formally launched
its Agenda 2030 programme in support of the
United Nations Sustainable Development Goals
(SDGs). As Mercuria continues to evolve and develop, our Management Team is integrating this
broad effort to hold it as part of the organization’s daily life and culture.
As part of our Agenda 2030 commitment Mercuria now has an internal dedicated Agenda 2030
website through which we update employees
on relevant news and initiatives and which has
a communication portal that allows employees
to make suggestions and communicate ideas
to us about how Mercuria can contribute to the
SDGs.
In our business and our operations certain elements of the SDG are particularly pertinent, and
we are focusing our efforts on those more relevant SDGs in order to focus on issues where our
organization may offer the greatest impact.
