With over 1150 employees operating in over 50countries and in an industry of such importanceto all we have a role to play in ensuring responsible practices in the supply chain. We are constantly evolving our policies, practices and duediligences to help us to achieve our goals in relation our commitment to Agenda 2030.We have re-structured some of our managementoversight to provide for a broader and more targeted oversight of our activities and as part ofthis we launched our Compliance and BusinessEthics Committee and our Environment, Health,Safety and Security Committee. Through thesecommittees we are able to ensure a broad spectrum of experience and knowledge looking overthese aspects of our business.As you will see from this report we have begunthis year to track additional KPIs, including ourGreenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions, and so areable to offer you more transparency over our activities. We recognize we have further work to doon these metrics but have made progress fromwhere we were last year.As part of our Agenda 2030 programme at Mercuria we launched our Green and SustainablePurchasing Policy and our Office Sustainability Guidelines. We are working to put in placechanges in our offices around the world.We continue to work with all of our stakeholders on how we can progress our commitment toAgenda 2030. This engagement is crucial to usto ensure we fully understand issues from different perspectives and to help us to progress ourfuture developments.11
