EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Our 2020 responsibilities report is intended to be a communication tool between
Mercuria and all of its stakeholders on how we think about, implement and track our
performance as it relates to responsible business. We know that we still have a lot to
do in this space, some aspects of which we know how we need to improve and other
aspects which are still unknown to us and we are working to discover. This report is
designed to be an honest assessment of where we are, where we have progressed
and where we still have work to do. We hope that this openness and disclosure will
encourage our stakeholders to work with us on further progressing our work and to
share their ideas.
The data and statistics that we have provided in the report is for the calendar year
of 2019 and we have tried to capture everything and to do this some assumptions
were made. One of our key focuses for 2020 is having a more automated way of
collecting some of the data and information that we need in order to be able collate
our statistics and KPIs.
