Canyon Coal Ltd.
Mercuria holds a 74% equity position in the
joint-venture with a South African coal producer,
with production at three mine locations with a
portfolio of other prospecting rights. Mine operations are in the Hakhano, Phalanndwa and Singani
Collieries. Canyon Coal has been well recognized
by the country’s national leaders for the professional manner in which it conducts its operations,
and its attention to making proper provisions for
the full life-cycle of its operations.
Seplat
Mercuria holds a 6% stake in the publically traded
SEPLAT Petroleum Development Company whose
operations are focused on the offshore Lagos,
Nigeria.
