Mercuria has various core entities, which
are organized consistent with both focus
on different industry areas and geographic considerations. Mercuria also holds
interest in a number of joint ventures,
which in like fashion have their specific
geographic, and industry specific area of
focus.
In contrast, many of Mercuria’s Business
Units are engaged in financial and physical markets as traders. In these instances
(where engaged only as a trader) while
still complying with Group Policies— particularly concerning issues of ethics, prohibitions against sanctioned entities, and
so on; they do not have any physical activities which would directly have operational
HSE related concerns.
