Treatment of employees when their
contract ends
At Mercuria, we continue to work hard to
ensure we maintain a respectful environment
free of discrimination and harassment where
everyone feels valued and supported.
Mercuria has a comprehensive whistleblowing
policy, which encourages employees to raise
concerns without fear of any repercussions to
them or their career. In addition, all employees
have direct lines of communication with any
member of the management team should they
want it.
HEALTH & SAFETY
As metrics within the people pillar, Mercuria

process enquiry into their having HSE
standards and commitments that are aligned
with our own. While our reporting includes
individuals from those partners and service
providers that are working for us as
contractors, we do not otherwise look to report
upon incidents concerning any business our
partners’ may have apart from and unrelated to
Mercuria’s operations, or events concerning
individuals that are not providing services to or
acting as a part of the operations within
Mercuria’s operational control or oversight.
For clarity in relation to our tracking of injuries,
Mercuria’s first interest is solely toward
ensuring that individuals will be provided with
appropriate medical attention to assess the
extent of any injury and to ensure appropriate
treatment is provided. With preference for
assessment and appropriate treatment, we do
not include in our metrics those cases where
medical professionals did not conclude an
injury exists or an injury was found to only
require first aid. While wanting to avoid events
resulting in injuries, we will never dissuade
