FROM THE DIRECTOR:
Focusing on senior-only programs, we offer specialized Senior Only Credential Programs tailored to the needs of students in
their final year of high school. These programs are designed for students who have completed the majority of their graduation
requirements and have the flexibility in their schedule to pursue industry-recognized credentials, enhancing their
marketability upon high school graduation.
The Senior Only Credential Programs at Euclid High School, Mentor High School, and Wickliffe High School target seniors in
grade 12 who are not enrolled in other Career Technical Education programs and are interested in graduating using the
industry-recognized credential option. These programs provide students with the opportunity to achieve the following
objectives:
• Earn Industry-Recognized Credentials: Students can earn 12 points on one or a series of industry-recognized
credentials, equipping them with valuable skills and qualifications sought after by employers.
• CompleteHigh School Credits: Students can fulfill their remaining high school credit requirements while participating in
the program.
• Fulfill ODE Graduation Requirements: The programs ensure that students meet all remaining Ohio Department of
Education graduation requirements.
The Senior Only Credential Programs empower students to be both college-ready and career-ready. Whether students aspire
to pursue higher education or enter the workforce directly, these programs equip them with transferable skills applicable to
various career paths, including public safety, cosmetology, and welding among others.
